If you are an SI member and would like to earn Contact Hours for HIMSS Accreditation, you will be pleased to know that SI conferences and teleconferences have been approved by HIMSS for CPHIMS and CHS/CHPS contact hours.
HIMSS has approved the 2008 Fall Conference for up to 13.5 contact hours of continuing education credit towards renewal of the CPHIMS credential. Please print, fill out and retain the 2008 Fall Conference Contact Hours form.
HIMSS has approved the 2008 Spring Conference for up to 15.9 contact hours of continuing education credit towards renewal of the CPHIMS credential. Please print, fill out and retain the 2008 Spring Conference Contact Hours form.
Each SI teleconference provides 1.2 contact hours, retroactive to
January 1, 2004. Please document hours with the Teleconference Contact Hours Tracking form and retain for your records. Please make sure to register for SI teleconferences under your own name (rather than having someone else register for you, for example) to ensure that your records match SI records. Please note that SI will not be able to add your name retroactively to attendee listings.
